The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan develops the report on the gold-bearing field �Bashkend’ in the Nakhchevan Autonomous Republic (NAR), the Ministry told Trend. The document will be prepared by the year-end, thereafter it will be submitted to the State Fund of Reserves. Feasibility Study is also under development on the deposit.
The reserves of the Bashkend gold field are estimated as 3,5- 4 tons.
"Foreign companies show interest to this gold deposit. Physical entities have also expressed their interest”, the Ministry noted.
The geologists find it attractive from the standpoint of its small expenditures.
