“5-day international workshop on economic estimation of the natural resources of the Caspian region started in Ashkhabad on Wednesday,” Latifa Husseynova, the head of the Caspian Complex Ecologic Monitoring Board under the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, toldTrend.
According to Husseynova, attending the event are representatives of the state bodies on preservation of environment of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Russia. Azerbaijan will be presented at the event by Mikayil Jabbarov, the head of the Division of the Caspian Complex Ecologic Monitoring Board.
The workshop will focus on actual issues related to economic estimation and management of the natural resources of the Caspian Sea, impact of human activities on environment in offshore strip. The participants of the event will study the economic analysis and estimation of resources, exchange opinions on discussing issues. They will organize presentations on the last day of the forum.
