Karimov sentenced to life imprisonment on accusation in the murder of Afiyaddin Jalilov, the Vice-Speaker of the Supreme Council, and other hard crimes, but the former officer did not plead guilty. Karimov noted in the appeal that, he plead guilty several years ago as a result of pressure.
