Turkmen Production Association Turkmendashlary is developing one of the richest non-ore rock deposits in Turkmenistan’s Balkan Region, the ‘Neutral Turkmenistan’ newspaper reported.
“Crushed stone, sand, gravel, gypsum, lime and others, which are necessary for the production of building materials and which are extracted from the most productive strata, are of great importance for the dynamic development of domestic construction industry,” the article reads.
During the 10 months of 2016, 123,177 tons of construction materials and 122,672 tons of gypsum were produced, while the volume of the produced wall materials amounted to about 3.127 million units, which is a significant increase compared to the same period last year.
Turkmendashlary’s products are used in the construction of roads, bridges, as well as for creation of production and technical infrastructure.
