Azerbaijan, Baku, Sep. 1 / Trend H.Valiyev /

The Turkish company Mobiltim completed installing GSM / GPRS POS-terminals (VeriFone Vx610) at the processing center Azricard, belonging to International Bank of Azerbaijan, head of Mobiltim's marketing department Fatih Meral told Trend .

The new GSM / GPRS POS-terminals (VeriFone Vx610) have passed the test verification. They are expected to be put into experimental exploitation in the near future. Mobile POS-terminals have a high speed work with complex applications. Programmable module of secrecy enables to adapt the terminal to any safe control circuit, Meral said.

The mobile terminal enables to place the service of the credit cards virtually anywhere. The sensitive external antenna allows the terminal to conduct transactions in stable conditions with low GSM signal. Telecommunications services are provided through a network of mobile operator Azercell Telecom.

Since June 2009, the terminals have been applied to pay fines in Russia, which enabled the residents of Moscow and Moscow region to pay fines directly in the place of compiling a protocol, for instance in traffic police officers' cars.

According to Mobiltim, the company is ready to provide GSM / GPRS POS-terminals to use them in payment of traffic fines in Azerbaijan. Non-cash payment by plastic cards will reduce the time to pay fines for drivers and provide prompt and guaranteed receipt of the funds to the public budget of the country.

Another Processing Center, Milli Kart open joint stock company, has also successfully tested a new mobile GSM / GPRS POS-Terminal VeriFone Vx610. Project of the company is implemented jointly by companies Mobiltim and NBA Technologies.
