The Azerbaijani State Maritime Administration has issued certificates for 101 vessels sailing under Azerbaijani flag since early 2010, the head of administration Gudrat Gurbanov's article posted in Khalq newspaper said.
He said that the administration gave certificates of ownership to 81 vessels.
During this period, six vessels were registered in the state register. They got the relevant certificates. About 18 vessels and two port points got certificates in accordance with the International Ships and Port Facility Security (ISPS), 115 ships and four shipping companies - the certificates.
During this period, about 85 ships, including 38 vessels sailing under the flags of foreign countries, were checked.
