Turkey registered 376 companies with Iranian capital in 2010

376 companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey in 2010, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) told Trend on Tuesday.

"25 joint stock companies and 351 limited liability companies were created with Iranian capital," the TOBB said.

According to the union, the majority of companies with Iranian capital operate in the construction sector and wholesale trade.

"Iran ranks first among limited liability companies with foreign capital in Turkey, which were created in 2010, while the country ranks third in terms of joint-stock companies," the TOBB said.

Based on the Turkish Prime Ministry Undersecretariat's data, the trade turnover between Turkey and Iran reached $9.604 billions in January-November 2010, which is more by 95.16 percent compared to January-November 2009.
