Azerbaijani Turan Bank's assets increase by more than 20 percent during year

Assets of Azerbaijani Turan Bank, as of Aug.1, amounted to 153 million manat, increasing by 20.9 percent compared to the same period of 2010, and compared to early 2011 - by 16.4 percent, the bank said on Tuesday.

Assets of Azerbaijani Turan Bank, as of Aug.1, amounted to 153 million manat, increasing by 20.9 percent compared to the same period of 2010, and compared to early 2011 - by 16.4 percent, the bank said on Tuesday.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 118.4 million manat, which is 33.7 percent higher than the same period of last year, compared to early 2011 - 13.9 percent. The bank's income from eraly 2011 totaled 8.3 million manat. Incomes for the year increased by 10.2 percent and amounted to 2.4 million manat.
The volume of deposit portfolio increased by 35.7 percent compared to early year, amounting to 60 million manat. Long-term deposits of population increased by 33.2 percent during year, and since early year - by 23.6 percent and amounted to 39.6 million manat.
The total capital of Turan Bank, increased during the year by 19.2 percent, reaching 25.2 million manat, and the authorized capital hit 22 million manat.
The bank has 26 shareholders, five of them are legal entities (21.54 percent) and 21 - physical entities (78.46 percent).
The bank has 11 branches and 20 exchange points throughout the country.
The official exchange rate is 0.7865 manat to $1 on Aug.16.
