Tajikistan and Turkey discussed the economic cooperation at the meeting of Tajik Economic Development and Trade Minister Sharif Rahimzoda with Turkish Ambassador to Tajikistan Mekhmet Munis Dirik, Avasta.tj reported.
Rahimzoda estimated active participation of Turkish companies in the development of Tajikistan's economy as a bright example of developing Tajikistan-Turkey economic relations.
Turkish ambassador assured Tajik Minister that he will make all efforts for wider development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
Turkish share in Tajikistan's total trade turnover amounted to 13.9 percent in 2011.
