Iran's agricultural exports have risen up by approximately 10 percent in the first four months of current Iranian year (March 20), IRNA reported.

According to the managing director of the Commercial Development Office for Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, Mohammad Mehdi Nahavandi, the agricultural exports reached 754,000 tons - a 10 percent increase over the same period of las year.

Revenues wise, the agricultural exports have risen by 1,6 percent (total of $884 million value) compared to the same period of last year.

Pistachio exports made $182 million, fruits - $111 million, and saffron - $107 million, Nahavandi said, adding that the rest agricultural products reached a total revenue of $242 million.

Other agricultural exports revenues - rice ($71 million revenue), fish ($60 million revenue), potato ($41 million) and persimmon ($51 million) were mentioned as well.

Flowers and plants exports made a revenue of $17 million for the same mentioned period of time.
