Representatives of Ernst & Young and Azerbaijan (SCP) Limited, made a joint presentation to the fourth-year students of the Special Talent Group of the Azerbaijan State Economic University (ASEU) on 26 December, 2012.
Nargiz Karimova, the assurance senior manager of Ernst & Young, Nigar Aliyeva, the assurance manager of Ernst & Young, Ramin Rzayev, commercial manager of Azerbaijan (SCP) Limited and Anar Hajiyev, marketing expert of Azerbaijan (SCP) Limited discussed with students the accounting issues in pipeline operating companies. Also, they provided students with the overall information about South Caucasus Pipeline project and other potential pipeline projects, which are now in planning phase for the purpose of transportation of Azerbaijani gas volumes into European Union. Students, with solid backgrounds in accounting, found it extremely useful.
Nargiz Karimova said she feels that "the event was well-received by both the presenters and students, who noted its timeliness, importance and informative content."
The presentation was held as part of the course on advanced accounting topics for the University students organized by Ernst & Young.
