Azerbaijani postal operator LLC Azerpoct announced a survey of interests to attract consulting services to form the operator's new image, the official press quotes Azerpoct as saying on Saturday.
Consulting services are attracted within technical assistance of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs - SECO in the amount of $600,000. The grant has been allocated under the World Bank project "Modernization of financial sector of Azerbaijan".
Terms of reference on the survey of interests are prepared in coordination with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the World Bank.
The consultant's tasks include development of a marketing strategy for the postal operator, including assessment of the need for new financial products.
The main goal of the technical assistance is providing support in defining a new brand strategy of the operator, as a component of a strategy for marketing and sales. In this regard, it is envisaged to enhance potential of LLC Azerpoct in market research and planning, communication and media planning.
It is planned to prepare and implement a rebranding campaign within three months for the pilot area, Shirvan. Seven post offices operate in this area.
