Azerbaijani Meqa Sığorta insurance company’s asset growth exceeds 63 percent

Assets of Azerbaijani Insurance Company "Meqa Sığorta" based on performance in 2012 amounted to 13.957 million manat compared to 8.522 million manat at the beginning of the year. This is an increase of 63.78 percent, according to the balance sheet of the company on published Friday in the official press.

The company's financial statements were audited by independent auditor Z.Novruzov.

Long-term assets of the company by the end of 2012 amounted to 838.3 million manat, short-term assests - 13.12 million manat.
In 2012, the company accumulated 11.304 million manat in cash and cash equivalents.
The paid-up share capital of Meqa Sığorta stood at 10 million manat up to 2012 versus seven million manat in 2011.

The company's aggregate capital by the end of last year amounted to 10.51 million manat, or 50 percent more than in 2011.

The company's revenues last year amounted to 3.26 million manat, expenses - 2.63 million manat. The company completed 2012 with a net profit of 0.5 million manat.
Meqa Sığorta Insurance Company began to operate under the new brand from October 1, 2010 and is licensed to provide 29 types of insurance services, including three mandatory.
