The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan and the Council of Ministers of Albania signed an agreement on cooperation in Baku on Monday. This is stated in the report of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan released on Monday.

According to the report, the document was signed during a meeting of the prime ministers of Albania and Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade and Sali Berisha. Rasizade praised the participation of his Albanian counterpart in the event 'The World Economic Forum Strategic Dialogue on the Future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia' held in Baku. Azerbaijani Prime Minister expressed confidence that it will contribute to the expansion of ties between the two countries.

Noting the high level of organization of the event, Berisha said Albania was able to successfully overcome the economic crisis observed in Europe, and maintain the stability of investments in the country.

"Albania has provided benefits in many areas, especially with respect to tax exemption of imported raw materials to achieve economic growth. Moreover, agricultural products are also exempt from tax," Berisha said.
