In January-May 2013, the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan transferred 2.911 billion manat of tax payments to the state budget, according to a statement posted on the Ministry's official website on Tuesday.

The share of payments on profit tax amounted to 42.6 percent of the total amount of tax revenues, value-added tax - 22 percent, income tax - 11.2 percent, excise - 7.4 percent and other taxes - 16.8 percent.

Tax deductions from the non-oil sector to the state budget amounted to 1.494 billion manat or 51.3 percent of total revenue.

The forecast on tax deductions for the Ministry as of 2013 has been set at 6.4 billion manat.

Around 34,901 taxpayers passed the state registration in January-April 2013. The number of physical entities registered in electronic form amounted to 24,821 people in July 1, 2011 - March 1, 2013. The total number of taxpayers was 512,114 people as of April 1, 2013.

In January-May 2013, the share of tax declarations filed in electronic form stood at 91.1 percent.

The official exchange rate on June 11 is 0.7848 AZN/USD.
