The Baku Metro's financial statements will be audited, the Cabinet of Ministers' decision on amending the metro charter said on Saturday.
The metro's charter was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on September 4, 1995.
At present, the length of the Baku Metro lines is 34.6 kilometers. The Baku Metro has two lines. In the future, the number of subway lines will be increased to 5, length - up to 119 kilometers, and the number of stations - up to 76.
The Baku Metro has been operating since 1967 and has 23 stations.
