In 2003-2013 CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines purchased 31 European and American made aircrafts, the airtline told Trend.
Azerbaijan Airlines said that during this period, the airline also purchased 17 helicopters.
In 2012 the volume of company's passenger traffic was about 1.57 million, which is 2.3 times more than in 2003. Over the past period of 2013 the airline transported 690.2 million passengers.
Six airports namely, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Zakatala, Lankaran, Gabala and Yevlakh, were built and recnstructed from 2003 to date.
