The Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes provided proceeds of 4,951.61 million manats from tax levies to the state budget in January-September 2013, the Taxes Ministry's Vergiler (Taxes) newspaper reported on Friday.

According to the newspaper, the specific weight of tax revenues to incomes made up 36.5 per cent of total tax revenues, value added tax - 25.3 per cent, income tax - 12.3 per cent, excise tax - 7.7 per cent, other taxes - 18.2 per cent.

Tax deductions from the non-oil sector to Azerbaijan's state budget amounted to 2,743.862 million manats or 55.4 per cent of total revenues.

The outlook on tax deductions for 2013 for the Tax Ministry is defined in the volume 6.4 billion manats.

Some 54,835 taxpayers passed state registration in Azerbaijan in January-September 2013. As of October 1, 2013 the number of individuals registered in electronic form amounted to 29,484 people, or 53.8 per cent of the total number of registered taxpayers. The total number of taxpayers on October 1, 2013 was 526,218 people.

In January-September 2013, the specific weight of tax declarations, presented in electronic form, amounted to 90.6 per cent.

The official exchange rate for Oct. 18 is 0.7843 AZN/USD.
