Now all Turkish seaports and ships will have to be supplied only with licensed technical equipment.

As Turkey's official newspaper Resmi Gazette reported on Tuesday, this innovation is specified in an amendment to the law of the country 'On ports management'.

According to the amendments to the law, Turkish ports' technical equipment that do not have licenses will be fined from 1000 to 5000 Turkish liras.

In addition, the law also applies to ships sailing under the Turkish flag, in that they should only be provided with licensed facilities and power plants. Otherwise, access to the open sea will be denied for shipping.

The official exchange rate for October 22 is 1.9746 TRY / USD.
