State fund: Transfers from Azerbaijani state budget for pension payment will be reduced in 2014

The Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund forecasts an increase in revenues from off-budgetary organizations in 2014, Azerbaijani Deputy Chairman of the State Social Protection Fund Elman Mehdiyev said today while discussing the draft budget for 2014 at an expanded meeting of five committees on the economic, social, agrarian policy, security, as well as natural resources, energy and ecology of the Azerbaijani Parliament.

The Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund forecasts an increase in revenues from off-budgetary organizations in 2014, Azerbaijani Deputy Chairman of the State Social Protection Fund Elman Mehdiyev said today while discussing the draft budget for 2014 at an expanded meeting of five committees on the economic, social, agrarian policy, security, as well as natural resources, energy and ecology of the Azerbaijani Parliament.

"The fund's revenues for the coming year as a whole are projected at 2.928 billion manat, which is 11.2 percent more than in 2013," he said.

According to Mehdiyev, it is planned to decrease the volume of transfers from the country's state budget to the budget of the State Social Protection Fund in the future.

"The share of transfers from the state budget in the total structure of the fund's income is 38.9 percent or 2 percent less than in 2013," Mehdiyev added.

The official exchange rate is 0,7844 AZN/USD on Nov. 4.
