By Emin Aliyev - Trend: A delegation of Azerbaijan's State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) will participate in the World Forum of social protection that will be held in Qatar on Nov.10-15, 2013, a message from the SSPF published on Nov. 8 said.
"The forum that will be held in Doha with the joint arrangement of the International Social Security Association and General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority, will receive the heads of organizations from different countries related to pensions and social insurance, representatives of international organizations, as well as scholars and politicians," the message said.
Within the forum, there will be a World Summit of Social Protection, as well as the development and tendencies in the sphere of social security, determination of new approaches to the organization management in this sphere and other topics will be discussed.
The Azerbaijani delegation will also participate at the 31st General Assembly of the International Social Security Association, meetings of Bureau and the Council of the organization. At the meeting of the General Assembly that is held once in three years, elections will be held for the president, secretary general of the International Social Security Association, the members of the organization's control commission and other officials.
