Tripartite memorandum of cooperation on armoured wheeled vehicles signed in Astana

A tripartite memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of combat wheeled vehicles and their maintenance was signed in Astana, the Kazakhstan Engineering national company reported today.

'The document was signed between representatives of Kazakhstan Engineering national company and the Paramount Group company (South Africa)', a statement said.

According to the report, representatives of the Paramount Group company (South Africa) in the face of Chairman of the Board Robert John Craig and Director of Business Development, Mr Miles Chambers paid a visit.

The Paramount Group is a global industry leader in the design, integration, production and support of numerous aerospace, defence and internal security technologies, including armoured and mine protected vehicles.

'Paramount Group's framework proposal on the establishment of the production of armoured wheeled vehicles and maintenance in Astana was presented as part of the visit for representatives of the Defence Ministry, Interior Ministry and representatives of Kazakhstan Engineering national company', a press release said.

The project's implementation will resolve several tasks to improve the defence capacity of Kazakhstan and to implement technology transfer and know-how.
