According to the report of the State Insurance Supervision Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance published on its website, Pasa Sıgorta leads the ranking in terms of insurance premiums collected in 2013. Some 13.24 per cent of the total premiums collected during this period accounted for this company.
AzSıgorta which holds10.38 per cent of all premiums in the market and the Azerbaijan State Insurance Commercial Company Azersıgorta standing at 10.1 per cent and are ranked second and third respectively.

Pasha Sıgorta is the market leader in terms of insurance compensation payments. In 2013 the company paid almost 27.43 million manats, or over 22.3 per cent of all the compensation during the reporting period.
It is followed by Ateshgah with 15.24 million manats (12.41 per cent of total payments) and Azersıgorta with 13.25 million manats (over 10.79 per cent).
The total amount of premiums of all insurance companies totalled 405.68 million manats in 2013, a 18.44 per cent growth and compensation payments hit 122.8 million manats, a 30.83 per cent growth.
The only reinsurance company AzRe's statistical indices are not indicated in the report.
