Azerbaijan and Hungary have signed a protocol following the fourth meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation in Baku.
Relations between the two countries are being vigorously developed in such areas as industry, power engineering, transport, communications and information technologies, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, culture and tourism, Azerbaijani Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev said today.
"The 40 percent growth of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Hungary in 2013 was as a result of this development," Mustafayev added.
