Iran has exported $87.7 million worth of goods to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) during the first ten months of the current solar year (started on March 21, 2013) which indicates an increase of 29.88 percent compared to the same period of the last solar year.
The Iranian Custom Administration's latest report released on Feb. 10 said the figure shares 0.35 percent of the total export value of the country during the period.
During the first ten months of the last solar year(ended on March 21, 2013), the same trade was worth $67.52 million which was 0.25 percent of the total export value of the country during that period.
Bajgiran, Astara and Bilasuvar customs were the top three border points in terms of 'suitcase trade' with $42.2 million, $14.69 million and $5.86 million worth of exported goods during the first ten months of the current solar year.
The country's suitcase exports` value to the CIS stood at $81.93 million during the first nine months of the current solar year.
