The Azerbaijani Social Fund for the Development of Internally Displaced Persons has announced a tender to purchase services for repairing the Ay isıgı sanatorium, located in the Shuvalan settlement of Baku's Khazar district. This is part of the WB project for improving living conditions and increasing the income of internally displaced persons in the country, the fund said on March 1.
The participation fee in the tender is 50 manat.
Tender bids with a bank guarantee worth 3000 manat should be submitted to the fund until April 1, 2014, 16:00, at the following address: 57D, Tbilisi Avenue, Baku.
Bids will be opened at 16:00 on April 1.

This is the third project in the sphere of improvement of IDPs welfare in Azerbaijan. The project was approved in 2011. It is financed through the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. IBRD is the part of the WB Group.
The government's share in the project amounts to $28.5 million and the WB's is $50 million. This means the total project financing amounts to $78.5 million. The agreement on this loan was signed on November 16, 2011.
Nearly 200 micro projects will be implemented within it which will involve approximately 120,000-150,000 people. The project will also contribute towards the improvement of living conditions of nearly 30,000 people. Approximately 1400 young people will be able to participate in vocational training and get grants to start their own businesses.
Moreover, nearly 1500 microcredits will be given to IDPs to start or expand their own business.
In total, nearly 185,000 IDPs in Azerbaijan will get more opportunities in infrastructure and services and be able to improve their living conditions and earn more money.
