The Azerbaijani - Russian business forum will be held in Baku on March 13 during Sverdlovsk region governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev's visit to Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) said on March 1.

The business forum will be organized by AZPROMO with the support of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy and Industry.

The Russian companies operating in the agro-industrial complex, industry, construction, energy, chemistry, education, health and others will attend the event.

Azerbaijani businessmen work in 71 regions of Russia.

Some 479 companies with Russian investments were registered in Azerbaijan in 2004-2012.

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia amounted to $2.58 billion in 2013 or by 10.47 percent more than in 2012. The exports to Russia for the period totaled $1.078 billion. The imports of goods from Russia to Azerbaijan during the period amounted to $1.505 billion, according to the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
