AtaSığorta increases assets by over a third

Assets of Azerbaijani insurance company Ata Sigorta based on performance in 2013 amounted to 20.83 million manat compared to 15.15 million manat at the beginning of the year, increasing by 37.43 percent, according to the company's balance sheet posted in local media on March 28.

The long-term assets of the company amounted to 2.13 million manat at the end of 2013, increasing by 3.3 percent, while short-term - 18.7 million manat with an annual growth of 43.78 percent, according to the report.

Some 15.87 million manat accumulated in cash and in their equivalents, including deposit accounts - 14.56 million manat and non-government securities - 0.7 million manat in 2013.

The company`s paid up authorized capital, stood at 7.6 million manat compared to 6.6 million manat in 2012, according to the results of 2013. The company completed 2013 with a net profit of 1.6 million manat.
The total capital of the company amounted to 8.87 million manat at the end of last year, with 28.55 percent growth compared to 2012.
Company's total liabilities amounted to 11.95 million manat, increasing by 44.85 percent.

The company's revenues amounted to 11.93 million manat and expenses amounted to 10.32 million manat last year.

AtaSığorta is included in AtaHolding group of companies. The company has been operating in the insurance market since 2004, carrying out activities on 22 types of voluntary and four types of compulsory insurance. AtaSığorta is the founder and member of Compulsory Insurance Bureau. The company has four branches and four representative offices.
