Baku, Azerbaijan, April 1
The Azerbaijani Labor and Social Protection Ministry has begun working on the establishment of special testing laboratories by using modern methods of job compliance with labor standards, the ministry reported on April 1.
In this regard, a central laboratory of the labor inspection service under the ministry is being built in Baku at the initial stage upon the ministry's order.
Such laboratories will be established in the regions at the next stage. The modern foreign equipment will be bought for the laboratory. Currently, it is being registered and certified in the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
The laboratories will primarily examine the working conditions in the production areas, the harmful physical, chemical and biological factors, toxic substances that have a negative impact on human health.
If factors are revealed that negatively affect the health and life of people at the workplace, administrative measures will be taken with respect to these enterprises.
