Over half of participants of the 2nd Caspian International Aqua Technologies Exhibition and Conference (CATEC-2014), to be held in Baku, are foreign companies, according to the exhibition's manager Rashad Gadimov.
He told journalists on April 9 that this year the exhibition will present 24 companies operating in the fields of technology, construction and provision.
Gadimov added that these companies will represent 79 countries, including Azerbaijan, Austria, Germany, USA, Canada, Turkey, Israel, Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, France, Hungary, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy and others.
"More than 60 percent of participants will be foreign guests," he stressed.
He also said the 2nd Caspian Conference Aqua Technologies will be held on April 11 as part of the exhibition.
"It will be attended by about 400 delegates. The conference will discuss the problems of this industry, its prospects, while panel discussions will focus on such topics as the integration of water resources, the use of innovative technologies in the processing of drinking water and other issues," Gadimov added.
CATEC- 2014 will be held at Baku Expo Center on April 10-12.
Azerbaijani national water operator Azersu OJSC was the initiator of holding this exhibition and provides official support for the event.
Iteca Caspian is the organizational partner of the CATEC- 2014.
