Russian Samus Shipyard will build two motor ships worth over 300 million tenge (182.02 tenge = $1) for Kazakhstan by the end of 2015

Russian Samus Shipyard will build two motor ships worth over 300 million tenge (182.02 tenge = $1) for Kazakhstan by the end of 2015, RIA Novosti reported on April 23.

"We are building motor ships for [Kazakh cities of] Pavlodar and Semipalatinsk. These ships are from technical fleet category and worth about 30 million rubles each (more than 150 million tenge)," General Director of Tomsk shipping company Vladimir Knoll told journalists.

Samus Shipyard was launched in 1879 and is located in the Russian Tomsk region. Now it is a part of Siberian Logistics Center, which also includes Tomsk shipping company. The shipyard has built over 300 vessels of various types since its creation.
