The volume of credit agreements signed by the Azerbaijani government with the international credit and financial institutions until early 2014 amounted to $12 billion, Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said while discussing the law on "Execution of the state budget for 2013" at the plenary session of the Azerbaijani Parliament on May 16.

"Azerbaijan's used foreign debt amounts to $ 6.1 billion," Sharifov said. "Some 728 million manat were allocated from the state budget-2013 for external obligations."

The official exchange rate is 0.7844 AZN/USD on May 16.
