An Azerbaijani delegation has left for Russia's St. Petersburg city to take part in the 18th International Economic Forum, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy and Industry said on May 21.
The Azerbaijani delegation is being headed by the country's Minister of Economy and Industry, Shahin Mustafayev.
Over 6,000 representatives of political and business circles from all over the world are expected to participate at the event to be held from May 22 to May 24, the ministry said.
A summit of global business leaders, panel sessions, roundtables, televised debates and briefings will be held during the forum.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum has been held since 1997 and is one of the most prestigious events in the business sphere.
