Azerbaijan and the Republic of Ingushetia (federal subject of Russia) will sign a number of agreements in the sphere of furniture and construction materials production, Head of the Republic of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov said.
He made the remarks at the fifth Azerbaijani-Russian interregional forum 'Interregional cooperation: new opportunities for growth' in the Azerbaijani city of Gabala.
"We have very good building stones and do not plan to purchase stones from Azerbaijan, but want Azerbaijani specialists to work in this field in Ingushetia," he said.
Yevkurov went on to add that it is also planned to cooperate in the sphere of tourism.
"The tourism sphere very actively develops in Azerbaijan and therefore, we want to adopt the positive experience in this field, especially in the maintenance sphere which is at a very high level in your country," he said.
Yevkurov underscored that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ingushetia is of tactical nature.
"We observe and study the economic development experience of Azerbaijan which is the strategic partner of Russia in all respects," he stressed.
