Turkey has ratified a tourism agreement with Iran, according to the website of the Turkish Official Gazette (Resmi Gazete).
Reportedly, the agreement enters into force on the day of ratification of the protocol on Turkey-Iran cooperation in the field of tourism. The details of the agreement have not been disclosed.
The protocol between Turkey and Iran on cooperation in the field of tourism was signed on April 27, 2004 in Tehran.
Throughout five months of 2014, Turkey was visited by 616,792 Iranian tourists.
