China Kingho Energy Group will create a joint venture with Kazakh KazMunaiGas Processing and Marketing on integrated coal processing and production of synthetic fuels in Kazakhstan, Kazinform reported.
The corresponding memorandum was signed by the parties in Beijing on Sept. 25.
Earlier within the state visit to China in May of 2014, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the management of China Kingho Energy Group and discussed strengthening of cooperation and possible implementation of joint projects in the field of complex processing of coal.
China Kingho Group is the largest private coal mining company in China.
KazMunaiGas Processing and Marketing is a subsidiary company of Kazakh National Oil and Gas Company KazMunaiGas.
