The consumption of electricity (excluding losses) in Georgia as a whole amounted to 771.42 million kilowatt / hours in September 2014, which is almost two percent more than in the same month of last year (758.78 million kilowatt / hours).
The power consumption in Georgia taking into account losses totaled 788.3 million kilowatt / hours in September, the Electricity System Commercial Operator "ESCO" told Trend Oct. 17. In particular, during this period electricity supply directly to consumers totaled 122 million kilowatt / hours of electricity and to power distribution companies - 649.42 million kilowatt / hours.
The thermal power plants (TPP) and hydroelectric power plants (HPP) generated 679 million kilowatt / hours of electricity in Georgia in September 2014.
Georgia exported 0.001 million kilowatt / hours of electricity, but imported - 88.4 million kilowatt / hours in September 2014.
Georgia's electricity consumption, excluding losses as a whole amounted to 10.141 million kilowatt / hours in 2013.
