Russian company TekhnoNIKOL will build two insulation material factories in Kazakh Karaganda region

Russian company TekhnoNIKOL will build two insulation material factories in Kazakh Karaganda region, said the company's message.

The building of the factories is envisaged by the memorandum on cooperation signed by TekhnoNIKOL's management and the head of Karaganda region Nurmukhambet Abdibekov.

The company will invest 2 billion rubles (41.8 rubles = $1) in the construction of a basalt insulation factory. The plant's capacity will be 80,000 metric tons per year.

Moreover, 550 million rubles will be invested in the construction of a factory producing extruded polystyrene, with a capacity of 300,000 cubic meters per year.

The factories will have modern production lines of leading European manufacturers, and create 285 new jobs.

The factories will be established in the special economic zone "Saryarka".

The implementation of the new investment projects will increase the energy efficiency of Kazakhstan's construction industry, Abdibekov said.

In turn, the president of TekhnoNIKOL Sergey Kolesnikov said that the construction of the new plants will increase the export of modern building materials to promising Asian markets.

"And for Kazakh consumers it will mean an increase in the availability of materials and convenient logistics." he said.

TekhnoNIKOL is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of roofing, waterproofing and thermal insulation materials.

The company has 38 production sites in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Czech Republic and Italy, the retail network of 140 branches and representative offices in 39 countries.
