Azerbaijani startups presented in the High Technology Park of the ministry of communications and high technologies of Azerbaijan, received free software worth about $50,000, the Microsoft Azerbaijan company told Trend.
The project is implemented in accordance with the memorandum of understanding that was signed in September between the Microsoft Azerbaijan Company and the High Technology Park.
Benefits of Microsoft for beginning entrepreneurs are provided within the Microsoft BizSpark international program, in which over 20 Azerbaijani startups were registered.
"Every startup registered on BizSpark receives solution software in the amount of about $15,000," the company said. "The matter rests in the platform, which gives the opportunity to develop their own software solutions on its base."
Microsoft BizSpark participants receive free Microsoft software for the design, development, testing of products and for placement of services on the Internet. Also startups are offered free resources of Azure cloud hosting, free access to the Windows Store, assistance in attracting of funding, support for advancing the project to the international market and a number of additional benefits from BizSpark community partners.
