In Kazakhstan, the grain harvest will exceed 15 million metric tons of grain in net weight in 2014, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Saparkhan Omarov said Oct.27 at an international agricultural exhibition KazAgro / KazFarm-2014.
He said that it is projected to gather 17 million metric tons of grain in bunker weight.
"The weather conditions (previously) got a little bit complicated," said Omarov. "But now the weather has stabilized and the harvesting continues."
It is planned to export 8 million metric tons of grain, the deputy minister said.
