Turkmenistan is interested in the shipbuilding at the Baku Shipyard of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan), SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev told reporters Nov. 21.
Earlier, Abdullayev participated in the oil and gas conference in Turkmenistan. He was also received by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. During the meeting, the sides discussed the shipbuilding by Turkmenistan in Azerbaijan.
The two sides also discussed the logistics, sale of oil and oil products, the countries' use of infrastructure of each other and other issues.
