The presidents of Georgia and Latvia Giorgi Margvelashvili and Andris Berzins opened a business forum in Batumi Nov. 27.
"One of the main priorities of Georgia's economic policy is a liberal trade policy," President Margvelashvili said.
"This is one of the most liberal approaches in terms of trade," President Margvelashvili said. "Our actions create an attractive business sphere in Georgia. Free trade is based on certain rules, which are the cornerstone of the World Trade Organization."
"In this context, the association agreement with the EU, signed by Georgia a few months ago, is very important," he said.
