Uzbekistan Airways national airline of Uzbekistan has put up six aircraft of western production for sale, three Airbus А-310 and three RJ-85 with the total starting price of $49.4 million, said the message of the company.

"The airliners are being sold as part of the program for unification and renewal of the company's fleet," Uzbekistan Airways said.

The company said it has been operating the Airbus А-310 since 1993 and RJ-85 since 1997, but these airliners have been replaced with А-320, Boeing-767-300 and IL-114-100 airliners purchased in 2012-2014.

Uzbekistan Airways is a monopoly air carrier of Uzbekistan, owned by the state. The company's fleet is currently consists of 33 aircraft of western production, including 15 Boeing (ten Boeing 767-300 and five Boeing 757-200), three Airbus A-310, 10 Airbus А-320, three medium-haul RJ-85 and two А300-600F cargo airbus.

It carries out flights to 21 cities of European, American, Middle East, Asian countries, 22 cities of CIS countries and in 11 directions on domestic airlines.

The passenger transportation by the company increased by 1.6 percent as of 2013, compared to 2012, and stood at 2.677 million, while the volume of cargo transportation increased by 2.5 percent and equaled 41,000 metric tons during the reporting period.
