Deputy Minister of Justice, Chief of the Penitentiary Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Justice, Lieutenant-General Madat Guliyev met with an Iran's delegation, the Penitentiary Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Justice told Trend Dec. 23.
The Iranian delegation included director of Foreign Ministry's Department for Iranian Expatriates Kazem Sajjadi, Iran's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Ayeen and Iran's Consul General in Azerbaijan Nasser Vatan.
The sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the field of justice.
During the meeting, Sajjadi expressed satisfaction with detention conditions of Iranian prisoners in Azerbaijan, conditions created for regular meetings with them.
The authorized representatives of the Ministry of Justice and the Penitentiary Service of the Azerbaijani Justice Ministry attended the meeting.
