A Baku-Tbilisi-Baku tourist train will operate on December 29 in connection with the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year, spokesman for Azerbaijan Railways Nadir Azmammadov told Trend Dec. 24.
Five days (December 31-January 4) are declared days-off in connection with the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year in Azerbaijan.
"A tourist train will move from Tbilisi to Baku on January 3, 2015," he said.
Additional carriages will be used in all domestic trips given the great passenger flow during the holidays.
"Depending on the number of passengers, from 10-15 to 20-30 additional carriages will be used," Azmammadov said. "Azerbaijan Railways will intensify its activity during the New Year holidays."
