Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev demanded to take strict control of the process of expenditure of funds from the National Fund of the country during the national teleconference "New industrialization of Kazakhstan: results of 2014 and the first five-year plan" Dec.25.

He said that all the efforts of the Financial Police, Prosecutor's Office, the National Security Committee should be aimed at this purpose.

The president said that every tenge, allocated (for projects within the framework of industrialization) from the National Fund, should be used.

Nazarbayev said that the working day of each person, starting from the minister, the vice-president, akim (head) of the territorial unit and ending with the corporate executives, contractors, must begin with the inspection of construction works and the use of funds allocated from the National Fund.

"The commission, which I created, should control every tenge," said the head of state.

The president proposed to conduct all meetings on infrastructure projects not in the offices of civil servants, but on the construction sites.

"With the modern technology, I will try so that my cabinet would have a screen: I press the button and see what is being done in each area," he said. "The prime minister should also do so. Only in this way we will get a result."

He went on to add that specific objects of infrastructure development have been identified at the national, regional level and funds have been allocated.

"There are projects, the money has been allocated, so just work," he said.
