The industrial landscape is shifting as trends such as globalization, the digital revolution, environmental awareness and its impact force producers to balance their priorities while also driving increased efficiency, productivity, flexibility, simplicity, reliability, safety and security. To meet these ever-increasing demands, customers need a strategic partner. In 2014 Schneider Electric completed acquisition of a UK-based Invensys company to generate the expected synergies and value creation initiatives.

"Since April 2014, we have been accelerating the integration of former-Invensys into Schneider Electric and focusing our efforts on becoming more operational in our localities. Throughout the integration of Invensys into Schneider Electric, we have been very clear that the rationale behind this acquisition is to create value for our customers, and we have identified key areas of technology integration."- says Schneider Electric Central Asia Country President Mr Emrah Tekdemir.

With this acquisition, Schneider Electric is significantly enhancing its position as a provider of efficiency solutions integrating power and automation. The transaction allows the combined entity to have a unique position in industrial and infrastructure end-markets.

Schneider Electric's PlantStruxure is the global process automation architecture for discrete to continuous applications. Due to the recent enlargement its scope has expanded to include the former-Invensys portfolio, including DCS for process applications and a complete range of safety solutions, which are now delivered alongside hybrid control system applications, plant and infrastructure for discrete applications, and telemetry for remote architectures. The integration of the Wonderware System Platform with PlantStruxure gives SE industrial customers seamless access to the world's largest automation software suite and delivers a single operator user experience for our remote, plant and process architectures.

E.Tekdemir: "Schneider Electric and Invensys are better together. The combination of our people, capabilities and technologies delivers more for our customers - customers who are continually searching for better efficiency, productivity, flexibility, simplicity, reliability, safety and security. To meet these ever-increasing demands, we offer our customers a strategic partnership with a global technology company that is leading the transformation of our industry, and that can serve their needs with our deep expertise and knowledge across industrial automation, software and energy management."
