Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee and Iran's Customs Service will sign a memorandum on cooperation in information exchange and the use of a "single window" system, a message posted on Iran's Customs Service Dec.30 said.

This issue was discussed during the meeting of representatives of Azerbaijani and Iranian customs administrations in Tehran, according to the message.

Head of the Statistics and Information Technologies Department of Azerbaijan State Customs Committee Igbal Babayev and head of the committee's International Relations Department Dilavar Farzaliyev are on a visit to Tehran.

The meetings held during the visit of representatives of Azerbaijani Customs Committee to Iran focused on the development of cooperation between the customs services of the two countries, according to the message.

Moreover, the representatives of Azerbaijani Customs Committee got acquainted with the operation of the customs point in the west of Tehran.

The head of the Customs Service of Iran Masood Karbasian visited Azerbaijan from Sept.29 - Oct.2, 2014.
