The Scientific Innovation Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan has prepared a business project for the extraction of precious metals by using innovative technologies, the center told Trend Jan. 6.
The project is based on scientific and technological research of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the academy. The new method envisages the extraction of precious metals by using new underground technological methods.
The matter rests in the mobile installation developed by the scholars. It allows using safe solutions for the extraction of metals from ores.
The new technology has been tested on some gold deposits of the Greater and Lesser Caucasus.
The business project, based on the Azerbaijani scholars' research, is intended to serve the economic development of the country. It has real prospects for further development, the center said.
