The tariffs for cargo and passenger transportation in Azerbaijan's transport sector increased by 0.1 percent and 2.6 percent respectively in December 2014 compared to November, the country's State Statistics Committee said Jan. 13.
The tariffs for passenger transportation by air to CIS countries increased by 15.5 percent, while by 8.2 percent to other foreign countries during this period, the committee said.
The tariffs for oil transportation via pipelines increased 0.2 percent in December.
Moreover, the tariffs for passenger transportation by railway to CIS countries increased 8.7 percent in December.
The tariffs for freight and passenger transportation by vehicles and ships remained unchanged in November.
